Death Bloom: Árveado’s Final Chapter – January 2023 to May 2023
A first-person survival horror made in Unreal Engine 5.1 made working under my university, open-source.
During this production, I took part as a UI programmer in charge of User Interface functionality, Settings, Save Data for Player and Settings Data.
This game proved to be an incredible learning experience that allowed me to work within a pipeline, collaborating with designers, programmers, and artists, to take part in producing a game of professional quality.
Grapple Ship – September 2022
Maneuver your spaceship through space using your trusty grapplehook to swing through debris!
It was fun programming a grapplehook for the first time! I also decided to implement coins in the gameplay as a way to encourage the player to have fun with the grapplehook mechanic and its movement.
Brick Break Hunter – May 2022
A fun platformer twist on Brick Breaker games! Use the ball to propel yourself towards enemies and reach crazy heights!
It was a lot of fun figuring out and coding the physics behind the ball’s movement and having it propel the player towards a direction.
This was also my first time trying out pixel art and simple pixel art animation!
Source Files are on my GitHub!
Forked Road (Level) – April 2022
A simple driving platformer where you drive through a level with coins for the player to collect and hazard volumes to avoid. This was made for my project in Animation and Game Fundamentals class at UTD.
For me it was a great intro to level design, 3D modeling, and animation.
